On August 20th, 1998, at the Island Club, the first Flipstock live show stormed the stage. The evening was kicked off by a nighttime performance of Cirque Magique, which had been playing at the Island Club since the first of June as the regular daytime entertainment. Rouding out the show was jam band, Six Foot Daisy and of course, DJ Shelshock.
